Rent Lift · Birmingham
How it works
One agreement, one monthly payment, nothing to manage.
-
Step 01
Two minutes
You tell us about the property.
Postcode, bedrooms, house or flat, condition. Two minutes. No obligation.
-
Step 02
Within 24 hours
We call you within 24 hours.
A real person from our Birmingham team. We answer your questions and book a visit at a time that suits you.
-
Step 03
Within a few days
We visit and make a written offer.
After the visit you get a fixed monthly rent and the lease length in writing. Leases run from two years to ten years and a day. You choose.
-
Step 04
At signing
We sign and take over.
We arrange the certificates, licences and inventory. If any work is needed before the property can be occupied, we agree it with you first.
-
Step 05
After handover
A family moves in through the council.
Birmingham City Council places households from its temporary accommodation list. The council manages the household’s tenancy and support. We manage the property.
-
Step 06
Every month
You are paid, every month, on the same date.
Occupied or empty, on time or not from the council, your rent from Rent Lift is fixed for the full term.
-
Step 07
End of term
At the end, you get your property back.
Inspected against the inventory, in good order, with the certificates up to date.
What stays with you
Buildings insurance, mortgage or freeholder consent for the lease, and the property itself.
What sits with us
Everything else, including repairs and maintenance for the full term.
